FERAY İLERİ

First Female Director Of The Trnc Cıvıl Avıatıon Autorıty Feray İleri,  was born in Nicosia on 12.11.1953. Feray İleri, Graduated form Literature in 1972 from Lefkoşa Türk Kız Lisesi. In 1977 graduated from the Department of sociology of Middle East Technical University. Feray İleri, in 1978, was appointed as information officer of the Civil Aviation Authority. As of 1983 Feray İleri was an Opearations personel. In 1997 She was appointed as the Chief of Aerodrome Operations Department. Feray  İleri, was appointed as the first female director of the Civil Aviation Autority in 2000. Feray İleri was also the chairman of the commission on airport security. In the framework of the Annan Plan in 2004 she has taken an active role on the committee meetings. Within the framework  of DHMI smart project she had enabled the purchase of equipment for the Air Traffic Control Management Centre still in use today. She also made a major contribution to the regulations in AIP at the 4 years that she was the director.
